OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Born in Cumbria we moved back to the Lake District in September 2013 to realise our dream of running a smallholding in the most beautiful part of the country. After renovating the farmhouse and outbuildings the land was next and livestock was added over the next couple of years. The animals are all rare breeds; a combination of pigs, sheep and goats.

 

Our aim now is to become as self-sufficient as possible in produce and sell any excess. I love creating and after suggestions from like minded friends took up wool spinning and weaving with the aim of using the wonderful fleeces shorn from our rare breed sheep.

 

We feel especially privileged to live and work in the Lake District's most beautiful corner.
